Fine Print
The Fine Print, in Plain English
- Many automations, one plan. Plans cover a hosting envelope, not a count of workflows. A low-traffic client can run dozens of automations on a Standard plan. You pay a build fee for each new automation, not a monthly fee per job.
- Usage allowances. Each plan includes traffic, storage and compute allowances, written into your plan agreement. Most clients never come close.
- Alerts before overages. We alert you at 80% of any allowance, so there's time to upgrade or adjust.
- Capped overages. Overage rates are set in advance, and monthly overage charges are capped at 50% of your plan price. At the cap, excess traffic is throttled, not billed; your automations keep running.
- No surprise invoices. We never bill usage in arrears. If you choose "keep running and bill me," overage blocks are charged to your card as each one is used. A failed charge gets a grace period before excess traffic is throttled.
- Unused hours don't roll over. Extra support is billed at $175/hr.
- You own your work. Builds can be bought out, so you can run the code yourself if you ever leave.
Why do you publish prices?
Because "contact us for pricing" wastes everyone's time. Published ranges let you decide whether we fit your budget before a call. Your actual quote is a fixed price after we understand the work.
Do we have to sign up for a monthly plan?
No, but most clients do. Automations need hosting, monitoring and fixes when connected apps change. If you'd rather run the code yourself, you can buy out the build.
Can one plan run several automations?
Yes. Plans are a hosting envelope, not a per-workflow fee. You pay a one-time build fee for each new automation, and they share your plan.
What if our traffic spikes?
You're alerted at 80% of an allowance. Overages are capped at 50% of your plan price for the month, and past the cap excess traffic is throttled, not billed. You'll never get a surprise bill from us.
Is the AWS bill included in Managed AWS?
No. For Managed AWS and Fractional DevOps, you pay AWS directly for your own usage. Our managed automation plans do include hosting.
